What's with the little fishy song?

Listening to all the choirs doing their pieces the work ranges from modern to very old, from the solum to the happy, but twice now they've done the "Dance with me Daddy" song (Or as I like to call it "the little fishy song").

I wonder why?

Dance to your daddy, my little laddie
Dance to your daddy, my little lamb
You shall have a fish and you shall have a fin
You shall have a heron when the boat comes in
You shall have a lobster boiled in a pan
Dance to your daddy my little lamb

Dance to your daddy my little laddie
Dance to your daddy my little lamb
When thou arts a man and come to take a wife
You shall have a girl and love her all your life
She shall be your girl, you shall be her man
Dance to your daddy my little lamb

Dance to your daddy my little laddie
Dance to your daddy my little lamb
You shall have a fish and you shall have a fin
You shall have a heron when the boat comes in
You shall have a lobster boiled in a pan
Dance to your daddy my little lamb

There seem to be various takes on the lyrics of this song but I picked this one as it mentioned ketchup, ketchup with lobster *boom* :) It's been stuck in my head all week, damnnit! I like the song but still think it was a shame that two choirs did it and one was the most proffesional of all and the other was new to the whole business. Also a shame it didn't work in the building at all :(
