Devon Chavs

No matter where you go there's always Chavs... Devon is no exception as you can see from this car. Whoever owns it (we reckon a woman, because of the "me to you bear" on the dashboard, not to mention the pink number plates) obviously has no common sense as the front air dam (bumper) is so low that it hits everything. And judging by the state of it she found that out the hard way!

Pecorama

I'm not a train geek... So let's get that straight. But I do however love scenic model railways... Which is why I love Pecorama so much :-) with lovely scenery from the hilltop it's built on combined with the perfect working scale replica trains, it makes a brilliant day out. I've lost count of the number of times I've been there... But I'll never get bored of it :-)

Not to mention the kick ass adventure playground

And a crazy golf course

Bicton Park

Words cannot describe how beautiful Bicton Park is... A huge parkland full of trees, exotic plants and wonderfully sculpted gardens. So here's a load of pictures:

Rockpooling

Rockpooling is one of my favorite things to do on holiday... And Ladram Bay has the best rockpools I have ever seen. Sadly they can only be reached at low tide... But it's worth the wait... As it's like another world.

Unfortunately I timed getting back a little late... I ended up getting washed off the rockpool and getting a massive gash in my leg.
Thankfully we were rescued by my dad in the boat. To make matters worse I fell out of the boat (Never been any good at getting in and out of boats) and landed in a massive pile of seaweed :-( still loved going rockpooling tho :-)

Astro-Mud

Astro turf I can understand... Nice never fading green for use in say a greengrocers... But why a brown astro turf? Is it astro mud? Useful for creating the illusion of being at a festival?

Peacock

There's Peacocks all over Trago Mills... This one seems a little bemused at the Peacock sculpture here tho.

Never too old...

...but sometimes too big :-) Nomi and Lou have to go on nearly every children's ride they see. Sometimes Lou doesn't fit tho. But then Nomi is tiny and bendy :-)

Trams

Trams are cool... Reminiscent of a bygone era of public transport (Yes I know you still get modern ones in Sheffield and Croydon, but they're not the same). Seaton has half scale scenic trams that run up and down the estuary. They're expensive (By public transport standards) but well worth it.
