Konbu Sweet?

Now I know Japan is famed for it's truly unique flavours... but why on earth anyone would ever want to eat one of these for nothing else other than to amuse their friends with their facial contortions as they nearly vomit is beyond me... see the reactions of some of the people we inflicted these on. Surprisingly some of them actually managed to eat it!

Jenga Anyone?

With the distinct lack of selling much of the Meiji Dice sweets and the Hi-Conc Milk Candy we decided to have a mini game of Jenga, to soon as we finished the first round we had a run on them and were left Jenga less :-(

Cowboy Bebop

Aww Pauls first Anime... Last year Chris and come to think of it everyone he asked recommended Cowboy Bebop to him as a good "first time" buy, so seeing it was on offer at UP he finally took the plunge and bought it.

Our stand was next door to the Manga Entertainment stand, so having to walk past his stall every time we wanted to get out we got to know the guy quite well.

Easy Like Sunday Morning?

Not on your life I'm afraid. Sundays are the most difficult days at Minamicon, as we have to check out the hotel at lunchtime... So it's a mad push to pack everything up ready to go. Problem is it looks like something exploded in our room!

Cosplay - Photos

Well the cosplay is well and truly over (in fact we've been in the bar drinking to it's health for several hours now). We didn't win a prize, but given the stiff competition I'm not at all surprised. I'll add a load of photo's (and perhaps a video) when I get home, so watch this space :-)

Naomi is living up to her cosplay character of Yūko Ichihara, and is teaching her Makona to drink Jagermeister and smoke:
