How much is 10am?
I'm not being pedantic... But this sign makes no sense. I could understand if it was the other way around. Breakfast from £5 lunch from 1pm. Should read Breakfast from £5.95, lunch served from 1pm

Tape
Naomi's mum lent us her car to move nomi's stuff. Whilst driving it back we listened to a old mix tape Nomi made. Then I spotted the display on the dash... "cass", why abbreviate cassette to cass? Why not just use tape?

New house
Well I've moved in with Nomi in Oxford. Well near Oxford... A Sleepy little village called Marcham :-) it's a lovely quiet area. And the house is almost big enough for all our Anime and geeky stuff... Which basically means it's a 3 bedroom semi :)
Now comes the mission of getting all our stuff in there and not making it look like a branch of Dixons collided with a HMV and finally came to rest in the wreckage of a Waterstones!

Car breaks... Again.
Not blogged about my car go a while... That's not to mean it's been ok tho. I had the engine rebuilt again 2 weeks ago... How did it go? Well I'm off home in an RAC van as my head gasket has gone... Again :( and after only 700 miles :(

Resident Evil 4
I feel a sense of accomplishment and loss having now completed resident evil 4 on the Wii. But hey at least it's another game I can now take off the massive pile of "too play/complete next" :)

Boobs for Nostrils?
Nearly fell over when I say this piece of "Garden Art"... I mean seriously... It has a pair of breasts for nostrils! Or am I just thinking about sex too much?

No Beard
Well I tried to go to Beard Papa... But it was always closed :( now it appears to have gone altogether? Wonder what happened... Another victim of the credit crunch?

Insomnia
Typical... Bloody typical. I can't sleep. My body just twinges all over so I can't possibly stay still. It's driving me mental.
Nomi suffers badly with insomnia, but typically tonight is one of the rare occasions where she's totally sound asleep.
I'm bored out of my little skull :( might try playing a bit of PSP to help me nod off.

Dukes of Hazard
I wonder if it's just me... But when I follow a car transporter that's empty like this I get the urge to drive up the ramp and fly off Dukes of Hazard style :)

Brighton Graffiti
Every town has it's graffiti, but Brighton has some that you can genuinely call art

Computer Cooling
Recently I built a computer solely for storing my masses of media on to playback through my PS3. It was scavenged from bits and kind of did the job, except it was far too hot... like surface of the sun hot! 70degC at times!
As you can see from the photo it's rather cramped, and has really bad airflow.
So I invested in a Antec 900 case as it has room for all 9 of the hard drives with 3 x 120mm fans blowing directly over them.
Before I shoved it all in... and after:
The advantage with this design is the PSU is mounted on the bottom so doesn't get heated by all the processor etc, the cages for the hard drives have 120mm fans that blow directly over them and then get sucked out the top and rear fans. It's so cool I don't even need a CPU Fan now :-) And it runs at a nice 35degC. What a change a decent case makes :-)

Snow Day
The snow in Kent is pretty bad, but not un-drivable. It annoys me that the news are making out it's like some sort of snow apocalypse. It's several inches at most, when I was a lad I saw several feet fall and no one complained! (Man that makes me sound old).
So me and Lou decided to make a snow man :-)

Ant Megalopolis
Sound has to be on to fully appreciate this.
All I can say is my god they're industrious little buggers, and they do it all without foremen and architects. If you tried to get humans to build a city like that it'd look a hell of a state, not like a work of art like this.
